Designed for Culture is an online magazine publishing thoughts on the design of everything. In addition to being the lead designer, I am also a co-founder and contributing writer. Working with the two partners at The Soap Collective, I designed the strategy, logo, and website.
In keeping with the organization’s principles of usable design, I established a minimal aesthetic. With the primary goal of readibility, articles are delivered with non-standard fonts in browsers that support them. Small details, like colors assigned to authors and a collapsable site description, help serve the reader as much as possible.
